Of course the 'supe' had to be standing there, right at my shoulder. geez! I am trying to explain to a patient why one of our mid levels could not speak to her about some lab result she had gotten. All she knew was that she needed to come in so it could be discussed. The MA let it slip that is was positive. Positive for what dunno don't care. But it freaked out the patient and here I am trying to mop up her full moon mess. crap.
I am talking to the mid level and he says he is up to his armpits in alligators. And what do I do? Repeat the phrase to the patient. Just the ammo that little snot needs. really?
Whatever. So fire me. geez louise! get over it. God forbid and rocks from heaben fall on my head!
Ok I am over it.
ciao!

1 From the Peanut Gallery:
Lab has a policy no release of results to patient UNTIL THE DOCTOR has actually read it. Really you must wait seven days.
So there! And no due to HIPPA laws I am forbidden to release such information to the patient, why not? Because you could be some one impersonating you for fraudulent reasons. Yeah.....
